Samsung galaxy note (left) v Panasoni Eluga Power (right)

The Panasonic eluga power is the eluga’s bigger brother. It features the same 8 megapixel camera, without a led flash, but that is where the similarities end. The front of the device is home to a gargantuan 5 inch 720p HD lcd display which has more detail than the normal eluga, but much less contrast. The device runs stock android 4.0 and is ready for a June European release.

As with the original eluga it features a water and dustproof unibody aluminium body that is slightly thicker at 9.6mm to house the improved 1.5 GHz dual core processor and larger battery.

Panasoni Eluga

The Panasonic eluga is the Japanese companies new Smartphone that is aimed at dominating the global market. Its 4.3inch qHD 960x540 OLED display produces deep blacks and vivid contrasting colours. The device features a contoured back that moulds to the hand and at 7.8mm thin the device is truly a wonder to hold. It features an 8 megapixel camera that seems to be missing a led flash so low light photography is not an option.

The front of the device is fairly bare with the Panasonic logo sitting above the three capacitive buttons. The device is water proof and dust proof which makes it practical as well as beautiful.   The de ice is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor that keeps the device running smoothly. In the aluminium unibody there are covered up ports for micro usb and the micro sim slot. The device comes with 8 GB of internal storage. This is a good mid range handset from Panasonic but it is slightly over shadowed by its bigger brother, the Panasonic eluga power.
